Feature
Watch a call get transcribed as it happens
Real-time speech-to-text overlay on active calls — for QA, training, accessibility, or just to see what your IVR is hearing.
Active calls running through a Live Transcription node now stream their transcript to the dashboard in real time. Open the transcription feed and watch words appear as they're spoken, attributed by leg (caller / callee).
What this lets you do
- QA — watch a sales call live without picking up a barge channel.
- Training — review what trainees are saying live, jump in if needed.
- Accessibility — let a hearing-impaired user follow the conversation in text.
- IVR debugging — see exactly what the speech recognizer heard, where it tripped up, and why a route went wrong.
How to enable
- In the call flow designer, drop a Live Transcription node at any point.
- Choose which legs to transcribe (caller, callee, or both).
- Save.
The transcription feed is available from the dashboard at any time during the call.
Worth knowing
Transcripts are delivered over WebSocket as they're generated, with low latency (typically under a second behind the audio). The feed auto-scrolls and color-codes by speaker. After the call ends, the full transcript persists in the call's record for later review.
