User Guide·Quick Start

A Tour of the Dashboard

The Dashboard page

After login, you land on the Dashboard. It's an overview, not a place where you make changes.

What you see here:

  • Counts at a glance — how many users, extensions, phone numbers, and call flows you have
  • Card grid — every feature area as a clickable card. Each card shows the count and links into the feature.
  • Recent activity — last few calls, voicemails, or notable events (depending on your service provider's configuration)

Click any card to go to that feature.

The top navigation

Across the top of every page, you'll see menu items. The exact list depends on what your role can access, but the full menu (for Tenant Admins) includes:

  • Dashboard — back to home
  • Extensions — your users' phone lines
  • Phones — the actual hardware (desk phones / softphones)
  • Provisioning — phone setup and configuration
  • Phone Numbers — your DIDs
  • Call Flows — visual call routing
  • Ring Groups — group ringing
  • Call Queues — for support/sales lines
  • Voicemail — message management
  • Parking Lots — park calls for pickup elsewhere
  • Pickup Groups — answer each other's calls
  • Paging Groups — overhead intercom
  • Custom Destinations — quick-dial labels for outside numbers
  • Feature Codes — star codes (* codes) like *97 for voicemail
  • Media Library — uploaded audio, TTS, recordings
  • Call History — every call you made or received
  • Analytics — performance dashboards
  • Users — who can log into this dashboard
  • Roles — custom permission sets
  • Settings — tenant-wide configuration
  • Fax — inbox, sent, contacts, compose
  • Campaigns — outbound auto-dialer

That's a lot. Don't worry — you only use most of them once during setup. Daily, you'll mostly touch Extensions, Phone Numbers, Call Flows, and Voicemail.

The breadcrumb

Just below the top navigation, you'll see something like:

Dashboard / Extensions / Edit Extension 102

These are clickable breadcrumbs. Click any segment to jump back.

The user menu

Top right corner, you'll see your initials in a circle. Click for:

  • Your profile and name
  • Theme toggle (light / dark / system)
  • Sign Out

The status indicators

Some pages show real-time status with colored dots:

  • 🟢 Green — online, registered, working
  • 🟡 Yellow — warning (e.g., phone registered but call quality degraded)
  • 🔴 Red — offline / not registered / error

Hover over a status dot for the details.

Getting back to the dashboard

Click your service provider's logo in the top-left corner. From anywhere in the app, that always takes you back to the main dashboard.

Mobile

On a phone or tablet, the navigation collapses into a hamburger menu (≡) in the top-left. Tap to open. Everything works the same way; it just stacks.

The dashboard is fully usable on a phone. You can manage extensions, listen to voicemails, set up call flows, and view analytics — all from your pocket.

What's next

You've got the lay of the land. Time to add your first user.
