Grandstream Config Testing

Download and manually import these test configurations into your Grandstream GXP2135 to troubleshoot provisioning issues.

How to Import:

  1. Click the download button for a config below
  2. Access phone web interface at http://<phone-ip>
  3. Navigate to Maintenance → Config File (or Import/Export)
  4. Under "Import" section, click "Choose File"
  5. Select the downloaded XML file
  6. Click "Import" button
  7. Check Accounts → Account 1 to see if settings appear

Troubleshooting Notes

If Working Config imports successfully:

  • Phone import function works correctly
  • Our generated configs have a structural or P-value issue
  • Compare working config vs. our configs to find differences

If NO config imports successfully:

  • Existing config may be blocking imports
  • Try factory reset: Settings → Maintenance → Factory Reset
  • Check firmware compatibility (should be 1.0.11.x or newer)

If config imports but Account 1 stays blank:

  • Missing critical P-value (like P37 for Account Active)
  • XML structure issue
  • Phone requires reboot to apply settings
